On Saturday February 9, 2019 at approximately 0204 hours police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious male in front of 258 Sound View Avenue within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, police discovered a 50-year-old male lying on the ground unconscious and unresponsive with a bruise to the back of his head. EMS responded and transported the male to Albert Einstein Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.
