The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at approximately 0640 hours, in the vicinity of Washington Avenue and 169th Street, the individual discharged a firearm, striking the 51-year-old male victim in the right leg.

The victim was transported by private means to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln in stable condition.

The individual, an adult male, Black, fled the scene on foot towards E. 169th Street.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
