The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, February 03, 2021, at approximately 1050 hours, on board a BX6 MTA bus, an unknown individual threw hot liquid in the 49-year-old female bus operator’s face following a dispute over non-payment.
The individual, who was only on board the bus for approximately one stop, threw the liquid as he got off the bus at 3rd Avenue and E. 163rd Street.
He fled westbound, on foot, along E. 163rs Street.
The victim refused medical attention.
The individual is described as a male, approximately in his mid-40s, approximately 5’8″ tall, weighing 170 lbs., with a medium complexion, last seen wearing a black winter hat, a blue face mask, a dark blue jacket with red and white stripes on the sleeves, blue jeans and black boots.
