On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at approximately 2149 hours, police responded to a 911 call of two people, shot and a shot spotter in the vicinity of Morris Avenue and E. Fordham Road, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, in front of 2449 Morris Avenue, New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers observed a 34-year-old male with gunshot wounds to his stomach and right armpit, and a 38-year-old male, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds throughout the body.
EMS responded and transported both victims to St. Barnabas Hospital, where the 34-year-old male was then pronounced deceased, and the 38-year-old male is listed in critical, but stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
