At least a dozen incidents of tire-slashings in a Bronx neighborhood are under investigation Tuesday, the third straight day residents have woken up to find their cars vandalized.
Residents in the St. Mary’s Houses in the Mott Haven section of Bronx reported finding their tires slashed in their parking lots Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Police said more than a dozen incidents have been reported, and investigators are looking to see if surveillance video may have captured the suspect in action. Until then, NYPD is stepping up its patrols overnight, police said.
