The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the following individual wanted for questioning in connection to the below homicide.
On Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at approximately 0543 hours, police responded to a 911 call of shots fired in front of 1024 E. 219th Street, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male, unconscious and unresponsive, lying on the ground with gunshot wounds to the torso. EMS responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.

Dayton Panton aka “Soldgi”, 37
He is described as a male, black, 37-year-old, approximately 5’10”, approximately 230 lbs.
