There were several arrests Thursday in connection with drug sales in the Southern Tier. Two of the arrested were natives of Bronx.
New York State police teamed up with local investigators and SWAT. After a two-month long investigation, seven people were arrested in the Village of Endicott and the Town of Union:
– Akanni K. Amberslie, 28, of Bronx, is charged with seven counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, all class B felonies, and five counts of Conspiracy in the fourth degree, all class E felonies;
– Frankie J. Capellan, 30, of Bronx, is charged with four counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, all class B felonies, and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, a class B felony;
– Rowshanda M. Bullard, 26, of Town of Union, is charged wtih Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, a class B felony, and Conspiracy in the fourth degree, a class E felony;
-Derek Greco, 26, of Endicott, is charged with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, both class B felonies, and two counts of Conspiracy in the fourth degree, both class E felonies;
– Kelsey A. Greco, 19, of Endicott, is charged with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, both class B felonies, and two counts of Conspiracy in the fourth degree, both class E felonies;
– Jeffrey S. Demkovich, 23, of Endicott, is charged with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, both class B felonies, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, a class B felony, and one county of criminal possession of marijuana in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor.
– Daryll B. Michaletz, 24, 0f Endicott, is charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, a class B felony,
Cappellan, Demkovich and Michaletz were arraigned in Village of Endicott Court and taken to the Broome County Jail without bail. Amberslie, Bullard, Derek Greco and Kelsey Greco were held in the Endicott Police lockup while they awaited arraignment.
