You should know that rumor has it, because of my conservative philosophy, there are groups and organizations (including some of my closest political colleagues) getting together behind closed doors to prepare candidates to run against me in 2021.

It is important for you to remember that my philosophy and belief has always been based in traditional family values, pro-life choices, moral values and Biblical principles.

I have no intentions of changing those values.

There is a saying, “In life you have choices”. Some people have one choice, others have two or even more choices.

I, for one, would like to tell you that I have been so blessed in life that I have many choices in regards to my political future.

For example:

As you see my dear reader, this black guy with kinky hair and broken English from La Cuchilla, Bo. Hato Tejas Bayamon, Puerto Rico has many political choices ahead of him. Unless, My Lord decides to call me and that is something we have no choice on it.

So to those of you out there organizing, I would like for you to remember the old saying, “Be careful what you wish for, you may get it”. Also remember, God hates ugly!

I am New York City Councilman Rev. Rubén Díaz Sr. and this is what you should know.

Councilmember Rev. Rubén Díaz, Sr. was born April 22, 1943 and is a U.S. politician and minister. A member of the Democratic Party, Díaz represents the 32nd District in the New York State Senate. His constituency includes the Bronx neighborhoods of Castle Hill, Parkchester, Morrisania, Hunts Point, Melrose, Longwood, and Soundview.
