The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, which occurred within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at approximately 1515 hours, in the vicinity of Gleason Avenue and Olmstead Avenue, an unidentified male forcibly entered a 54-year-old female unattended vehicle. He then reverses the car and crashes it into other vehicles.
When the suspect exits the car, he displays a knife to the victim, before returning to the vehicle to retrieve her purse.
The individual fled on foot towards Cross Bronx Service Road.
