Help Identify A Burglary Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection to a burglary within the confines of the 45 Precinct in Bronx.

The details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Friday March 29, 2019, at approximately 0857 hours, inside of 1511 Saint Peters Avenue, the individual gained entry into the mosque by posing as a member of the mosque. Once inside, the individual tried to force open a donation box but was unsuccessful. She fled the location on foot northbound on Saint Peters Avenue.

The individual is a dark-skinned female, last seen wearing a black knit cap, a black jacket, black pants, black shoes and she had on a black and neon green backpack.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers’ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
