President Donald J. Trump once again demonstrated the kind of raw courage that defines true leadership. On April 26, 2026, the 3rd assassination attempt against him unfolded at a campaign rally in Michigan. A gunman opened fire from a rooftop position near the event venue in Grand Rapids. Secret Service agents responded immediately, neutralizing the threat within seconds. President Trump remained on stage, raised his fist in defiance, and continued speaking to the crowd even as chaos erupted around him. He did not flinch. He did not run. He stood fearless.
This marks the third known attempt on his life in less than two years. The pattern is unmistakable. Radical elements in American politics have moved beyond hateful rhetoric into outright violence. Yet President Trump continues to stand tall, refusing to be silenced or intimidated. His response sends a powerful message: America will not be ruled by fear or by those who resort to bullets when they lose at the ballot box.
The Details Of The Latest Attack
According to preliminary reports from law enforcement, the gunman positioned himself on a rooftop approximately 400 yards from the stage. He fired several shots before Secret Service counter-sniper teams took him out. President Trump sustained no injuries, though two attendees suffered minor wounds from flying debris. The rally crowd initially reacted with panic, but quickly rallied behind chants of “USA! USA!” as the former — and likely future — President calmed them with his…

Resorts World New York City (RWNYC) today officially opened its 242 live table games floor in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and ceremonial first roll of the dice hosted by Genting Chairman KT Lim. Another floor with 2,507 commercial casino slots, some with million dollar plus jackpots is also opened at the same time.
Hip-Hop legend and RWNYC partner NAS, elected officials, community partners, and company leaders were all on hand for the milestone event which marks the first time live table games have ever operated in New York City and cements RWNYC’s place in the history of New York’s gaming and hospitality landscape.
“With Chairman Lim’s first roll of the dice, we celebrate a milestone that took nearly 15 years of hard work, strong partnerships, and an unwavering belief in what this property could become for New York,” said Robert DeSalvio, President, Genting Americas East. “Live table gaming is officially open in New York City for the first time ever, and on day one we are contributing to the State’s economy, supporting jobs, and giving back to New Yorkers. With our planned $5.5 billion expansion, this is only the beginning of something much bigger for Resorts World and for New York.”
More than 240 table games including blackjack, craps, baccarat, and roulette were debuted on a newly reimagined gaming floor alongside more than 2,500 new commercial slot machines placed on the second and third floor of the existing Aqueduct Facility. The number of tables and commercial slot machines will double with the progressive opening of the ground and first gaming floors later in the year. To uncover these findings about the youth soccer ecosystem in New York City and North Jersey, Aspen’s Project Play conducted a sport-specific “State of Play” analysis that included interviews with local leaders and policymakers, a regional community summit, focus groups with children, parents, and coaches, a data analysis of field availability versus demand, and a survey of nearly 700 youth soccer players. The survey lets children share their soccer experiences directly, so local leaders can improve programs based on their feedback.
