On Sunday, October 24, 2021, at approximately 2049 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot at 2253 Ryer Avenue, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police observed a 21-year-old male, lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS also responded and transported the male victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
The incident has been deemed a homicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, a 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection to the above-listed homicide.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation 2 male individuals, a 22-year-old and a 19-year-old, were arrested on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 1020 hours, and on Tuesday, December 07, 2021, at 1500 hours respectively in connection with the above-listed investigation.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, detectives have submitted surveillance video clip, depicting another individual, wanted in connection to the above-listed homicide.
The investigation remains ongoing.
