You are hereby notified that on October 15, 2003, a female minor child was born to Jessica P. Patterson. You have been named and are believed to be the biological father.
A Petition for Adoption of said minor child was filed in the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, Civil Action File No. 13A37BP. If you are the biological father, you are to make known any objections you may have to said adoption on June 19, 2014, in said Court at 2:30 p.m. before the Honorable Bobby Peters, Judge, Superior Court of Muscogee County, located at the Government Center, Columbus, Georgia.
Be advised that you will lose all rights to the child and will neither receive notice nor be entitled to object to the adoption of the child unless, within thirty (30) days of receipt of this notice you file a Petition to Legitimate the children pursuant to O.C.G.A. §19-7-22, and send a copy to the below listed counsel for the Petitioner.
Be advised further that if you wish to make any claim, you would be required to take a blood test, establish paternity by filing a Petition to Legitimate as stated above, and you must be prepared to assume all financial and other responsibility for the child and prove your fitness.
