On Thursday, February 25, 2021, at approximately 1850 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, assaulted in front of 2308 Washington Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 50-year-old male with trauma to the face and head.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital, where he was treated before being transported to a long-term care facility, where he was pronounced deceased on Monday, June 14, 2021.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
