The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified vehicle and its male operator seen in the attached photo and sought in connection with leaving the scene of a collision within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 1345 hours, inside of a shopping plaza parking lot in the vicinity of 1994 Bruckner Boulevard, the victim, a 78-year-old female, was pushing a shopping cart and walking towards ShopRite when a light-color Honda Odyssey minivan operated by an unidentified male made a left turn and struck the victim.

The victim was knocked to the ground. The unidentified male stopped, briefly opened the driver side door, however, he then resumed driving and exited the parking lot onto Turnbull Avenue. He then fled southbound on Pugsley Avenue.

The victim was transported by EMS to Jacobi Hospital, where she was treated for pain and bruising to her left leg and was released.
