The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the attached surveillance photos wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery in the confines of the 40th Precinct in Bronx.
The details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at approximately 1240 hours, at the corner of Tinton Avenue and E. 160th Street, a 17-year-old female was walking to school when an unidentified male attempted to snatch her jewelry from her neck. The male was unsuccessful after being frightened away by a witness and fled empty handed.
The victim sustained minor scratches and bruises to her neck.
