On Monday, September 20, 2021, at approximately 0815 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault at 390 E. 158th Street, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, responding officers encountered an unconscious and unresponsive 35-year-old female inside of her apartment’s bedroom with a band of rubber around her neck.
EMS also responded to the scene and pronounced her deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance locating the following 44-year-old male individual, wanted for the above-listed homicide.

The investigation remains ongoing.
