Help Identify An Assault Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 47 Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Monday December 31, 2018, at approximately 09:40 p.m., in the vicinity of 907 E. 221 Street, the individual fired several shots into the 26-year-old male victim’s parked vehicle, striking him and his 34-year-old male passenger. The 26-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to his buttocks and the 34-year-old was shot several times in his legs; both were treated and released from area hospitals. The individual fled the scene on foot westbound on E. 221 Street.

The individual is described as a male with a green and black umbrella; last seen wearing a black jacket, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.
