On Sunday, September 22, 2019 at approximately 2040 hours, police responded to 911 call for a male shot at 428 E. 162nd Street, in the confines of the 42 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 29-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. EMS responded and transported the victim to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 25-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 1802 hours within the confines of the 42 Precinct in Bronx.

- criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
