On Sunday, July 11, 2021, at approximately 2336 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot at E. 178th Street and Valentine Avenue, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police observed in front of 361 E. 178th Street a 16-year-old male with gunshot wounds to his head and chest.
EMS also responded and transported the male to St. Barnabus Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation regarding the above-listed incident, the following 19- and 15-year-old individuals were arrested on Saturday, July 17, 2021, and charged as follows.

The investigation remains ongoing.
