On Sunday, May 09, 2021, at approximately 0238 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person, shot at 1203 Westchester Avenue, within the confines of the 41st Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police observed in front of the location a 32-year-old male, lying on the ground, with a gunshot wound to the chest.
EMS also responded and transported the male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 35-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged in connection to the above-listed incident.

- assault;
- murder;
- reckless endangerment;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
