On Wednesday, May 08, 2019, at approximately 1400 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault inside of 1571 Taylor Avenue, within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 70-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with trauma about the head.
EMS responded to the location and transported the aided male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased on Saturday, October 17, 2020.
The Medical Examiner has deemed the death a homicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
