Assemblywoman Vanessa Gibson will be honoring 3 women who started one of the only independent cheer leading teams in her district.

Head Coach of the LPAC Knights, one of the strongest Basketball programs in the Bronx; Deacon Julio who runs a community service program for juvenile who are mandated by the court and many other leaders.

The citation ceremony will be held today, Friday June 11, at 14 West 170^th (off Jerome Street).

Join us tomorrow as parents, teachers, children, and community members honor these community hero’s.
