On Saturday, May 07, 2022, at approximately 1951 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a foul odor inside of an apartment, located at 1146 Ogden Avenue, within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
With the assistance of the FDNY, officers were able to gain entry into the apartment. Once inside, officers observed an unidentified individual, unconscious and unresponsive, on the floor, with a plastic bag over the head.
EMS responded and pronounced the individual deceased on scene.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the above-listed incident has been deemed a homicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
