The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photographs, who is wanted in connection to an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Friday, May 14, 2021, at approximately 1145 hours, at the northeast corner of Van Cortlandt Avenue East and Bainbridge Avenue, aboard the BX#28 bus, heading towards Bay Plaza, an unidentified individual approached a 67-year-old female victim, sitting in her wheel chair, and with a closed fist struck the victim in the face, before exiting the bus.
The victim sustained pain and discomfort.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where she is listed stable condition.
The individual is described as a male, dark complexion, approximately 20-years-old, 6’1″ tall, weighing 160 lbs., with a medium build and short dark close cut hair.
He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, grey shorts, white socks and orange “Nike” sneakers.
