Police late Thursday were asking the public to help them find a non-custodial mother who allegedly took her three children from their Bronx school.

Around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, Rachel Summers picked up her three biological children from P.S. 112, at 1925 Scheffelin Ave. in the Edenwald section of Bronx and left the location, police said.

Summers does not have custody of the children and took them unlawfully, police said.

Police told CBS 2 they do not expect an AMBER Alert to be issued.

Summers was described as a 28-year-old black female standing 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 155 pounds.

Police said she took her daughter – Anaya Barnes, 13; and her two sons – Elijah Summers, 10, and Korrie Williams, 9.

Police have released a photo of Rachel Summers. Photos of the children are not available.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit NYPDCrimestoppers.com.

All calls are strictly confidential.
