On Wednesday, November 02, 2022, at 1451 hours, the following 38-year-old male on-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.
Arrested:
Paul Anthony Tyrrell
NYC Department of Education (DOE) Teacher
Charges:
- sexual abuse;
- forcible touching;
- acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17 (3 counts).
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
