On Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 03:01 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a domestic assault inside of 1579 Metropolitan Avenue, within the confines of the 43 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, police observed a 46-year-old female with stab wounds to her torso and a 52-year-old male with stab wounds to his torso and head. EMS transported both individuals to Jacobi Hospital, where the female was pronounced deceased. The male is listed in stable condition and is in police custody with charges pending. Two knives were recovered at the scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
