Authorities are continuing their search for a man who they say set his girlfriend on fire during a domestic dispute.

According to investigators, 43-year-old Jose Maldonado threw alcohol on 29-year-old Prisila Zapata and then lit her on fire on January 11, 2014.

The victim’s mother, Elsa Padilla, says the two have had an on-and-off relationship, and have a 12-year-old daughter together.
