Police are searching for the gunman who fatally shot a man in the Bronx Wednesday afternoon.
At about 5:00 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 1538 University Avenue in the Morris Heights section.
Responding officers discovered the victim, Cesar Augustino Suero, 39, of New York, who had been shot in the torso and the leg. EMS transported him to Bronx Lebanon Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to the New York City Police Department, the suspect is a Hispanic male, 25- to 30-years-old wearing black pants, a green hooded sweatshirt and multi-colored sneakers. He was seen leaving a dark colored SUV.
