On Friday, June 29, 2018, at 0159 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious infant inside of 997 Brooke Avenue (Days Inn) within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 4-month-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with no apparent signs of trauma.
EMS also responded to the location and transported the aided to Lincoln Hospital where the victim was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing and the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
