On Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at approximately 0806 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious female inside of an apartment at 175 Alexander Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct / PSA 7 in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, responding officers encountered EMS providing emergency care to an unconscious 7-year-old female.
EMS subsequently transported the female to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln where she was pronounced deceased.
On Friday, August 13, 2021, the Medical Examiner deemed the incident a homicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Bronx, NY 10454
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
