On Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at appproximately 1415 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a motor vehicle collision at E. 222nd Street and White Plains Road, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
Preliminary investigation determined that a 45-year-old male operator of a motorcycle was travelling northbound on White Plains Road, when he collided with a Toyota Sienna, operated by a 52-year-old male, that was traveling southbound on White Plains Road.
The operator of the motorcycle was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
The Toyota Sienna remained on scene.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
