On October 18, 2019 at approximately 2322 hours, police responded to a call of a possible dead body in the vicinity of W. 183 Street and Sedgewick Avenue within the confines of the 52 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, police observed an unconscious and unidentified 54-year-old female victim inside of a blanket at the location.
EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
The New York City Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
Following proper family notification the deceased has been identified as follows.

- concealment of a human corpse
- tampering with physical evidence
The investigation remains ongoing.
