On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at approximately 0200 hours, police observed a 21-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head, in the rear of 4422 Third Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
EMS responded and transported the male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
