Johnnie Pabon, 33, Arrested For The Murder Of Mauricio Rincon, 42

On Tuesday, June 09, 2020, at approximately 2015 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in front of 643 Wales Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 42-year-old male with a laceration to the face and pain to the head.

EMS responded to the location and treated the victim at the scene.

On the morning of Wednesday, June 10, 2020, the aided male was discovered deceased within his apartment.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 33-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Monday, June 15, 2020, at 1430 hours, within the confines of the 40th Precinct.

The investigation remains ongoing.
