On Saturday, February 17, 2024, at approximately 0441 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in front of 1206 Stratford Avenue, within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers were informed EMS had transported the aided to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi in critical condition.
The 46-year-old male aided succumbed to his injuries from this incident on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 23-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at approximately 1315 hours,within the confines of the 43rd Precinct.

Charges:
- manslaughter in the 1st degree;
- criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree;
- assault with intent to cause serious physical injuries with a weapon
The investigation remains ongoing.
