Jabari Albright, 18 & Mikell Pettaford, 20, Arrested

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at approximately 1808 hours, in front of 1461 5 Avenue within the confines of the 25^th Precinct in Manhattan, an unidentified individual fired several shots at another unidentified male.

During the incident, the 59-year-old male victim was grazed in the chest by one of the shots.

EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem in stable condition.

The individual fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 18-year-old and 20-year-old individuals were arrested and charged within the confines of the 25^th Precinct on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 2330 hours and on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at 1200 hours, respectively.

Bronx, NY 10465

Charges:

• attempted murder;
• reckless endangerment;
• criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm.

The investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
