The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the vehicle, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, which, along with its driver, are wanted in connection to an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Monday, October 11, 2021, at approximately 2230 hours, at the intersection of Crotona Parkway and E. 179th Street, an unknown dark colored four door sedan with silver rims pulled up next to a vehicle that a 24-year-old female victim, who was driving, and shot her in the right shoulder and chin.
EMS responded and removed the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
The vehicle fled northbound on Crotona Parkway and made an eastbound right turn on E. 180th Street.
