It was reported to police that on Friday, October 22, 2021, at approximately 1845 hours, inside a barber shop, located at 250 E. Gun Hill Road, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx, a 22-year-old male victim was sitting in a barber chair, when two unknown individuals entered the establishment.
Once inside, one individual fired at the victim, striking him in stomach, at which time he passed the firearm to the other individual, who proceeded to shoot the victim in the leg, before they fled on foot northbound towards Kings College Place.
There were no further injuries reported.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he is listed in stable condition.
The individuals are described as the following.
Individual #1 is described as a male, with a light skin complexion, and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black balaclava, white t-shirt, a black long sleeve shirt, dark colored pants and white sneakers.
Individual #2 is described as amale, with a light skin complexion, and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and white sneakers.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following individuals have been arrested and charged, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct.
On Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 0815 hours, a 17-year-old male was arrested and charged.
- attempted murder
On Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 2050 hours, the following 18-year-old male was arrested and charged.

- attempted murder;
- reckless endangerment.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
