Help Identify An Assault Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip, who is wanted in connection to an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, September 04, 2021, at approximately 1641 hours, a 34-year-old male victim was in the rear of 3405 Putnam Place, when the victim and an unidentified male individual began an unknown verbal dispute.

After a brief struggle between the two, the male individual then kicked the victim to the floor and continue kicking him in the body area and head while laying on the floor.

The individual then fled on foot to parts unknown.

The victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital and is listed in critical condition.

The individual is described as a dark-skinned adult male, approximately 30 to 40 years of age, eith a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater, tan pants, black sneakers, white hat, black face mask and carrying a black bag.
