The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, seen in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is sought in connection with an assault, which occurred within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Friday, December 25, 2020, at 0400 hours, on the corner of East Tremont Avenue and Marmion Avenue, the victim, a 25-year-old male, who was walking with a shopping bag, containing beer, that he had recently purchased, was approached by an unidentified male, who asked for some beer.

The victim denied the request and the unidentified male produced a knife, slashed the victim’s nose and stabbed him in the abdomen.

The unidentified male fled on foot.

EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
