The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the male, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs, who is wanted for questioning in connection to a burglary pattern within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that between Wednesday, December 23, 2020 and Wednesday, January 06, 2021, in the vicinity of East Gun Hill Road and Decatur Avenue, the unidentified male individual gained entry into five residential apartment buildings by forcing open the lobby doors with a screwdriver.

Once inside each of the buildings, the individual used a screwdriver to force open mailboxes and removed the contents of multiple mailboxes before fleeing the locations.

The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
