The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified males who are seen in the attached video and photo and are sought in connection with an assault that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Friday, September 10, 2021, at approximately 1800 hours, four unidentified male individuals approached a 54-year-old male victim, while in front of a residential building in the vicinity of Towsend Avenue and E. 172nd Street and began assaulting him.

One of the individuals then stabbed the victim once with a knife, causing a puncture and laceration to left side of the chest.

After a brief struggle, the victim was able to retrieve the knife from the male individual, before they all fled on foot to parts unknown.

The victim was removed to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
