The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and wanted for questioning in connection to an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 41st Precinct / Transit District 12 in the Bronx.

The following was reported to police.

On Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 0626 hours, on the southbound 2 train platform at the Simpson Street subway station, the 40-year-old male victim involved in a dispute with an unidentified male. The male subsequently discharged a firearm at the victim, before fleeing in unknown direction.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for two gunshot wounds to the right arm.

A surveillance video clip of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
