The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual and auto, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photographs, who are wanted in connection to an assault / non-fatal shooting, that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
The following was reported to police.
On Monday, August 24, 2020, at approximately 1511 hours, at the intersection of University Avenue and 167th Street, the unidentified individual discharged a firearm, striking a 21-year-old male in the right leg.
The individual fled in a black sedan.
The victim was removed to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
There were no other injuries reported as a result of this incident.
