On Friday, July 31, 2020, at approximately 0805 hours, on a northbound 5 train near Wales Avenue and E. 150 Street, a male suspect made anti-Asian statements and spit on the 30-year-old female victim, then exited the train at Jackson Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct / Transit District 12 in the Bronx.
The victim was uninjured and refused medical attention at the scene.
Following an ongoing investigation, the following 39-year-old male person has been arrested and charged in relation to the above-mentioned incident.

The investigation remains ongoing.
