The New York City Police Department Hate Crime Task Force is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the male, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph, who is wanted for questioning in regard to an aggravated harassment, that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct / Transit District 12 in the Bronx.
The following was reported to the police.
On Friday, July 31, 2020, at approximately 0805 hours, on a northbound 5 train near Wales Avenue and E. 150 Street, a male suspect made anti-Asian statements and spit on the 30-year-old female victim, then exited the train at Jackson Avenue.
The victim was uninjured and refused medical attention at the scene.
