The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the males sought in connection with an assault in Transit District 12 in the confines of the 47 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 2130 hours, inside of the 225 Street elevated station (2 and 5 Lines), the victim, a 59-year-old male had a verbal dispute on the northbound platform with Unidentified Male #1, who was accompanied by Unidentified Male #2.
The dispute escalated as the victim and the unidentified males descended the stairs to the mezzanine. Unidentified Male #2 punched the victim in his shoulder. Unidentified Male #1 produced a length of metal chain from his pants pocket and struck the victim multiple times about his body and face. The victim suffered pain and inflammation to his face and body and a laceration to his lip. The unidentified males fled the station.
The victim reported the incident to police and was subsequently treated at Montefiore Hospital.
