The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, seen in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is sought in connection with a robbery, which occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, December 08, 2021, at 1115 hours, in front of 520 E. 149th Street, the victim, a 79-year-old male, was on the sidewalk, thumbing through his wallet, when an unidentified male approached and grabbed it.
A struggle ensued and the victim was knocked to the ground.
The unidentified male fled on foot with the victim’s wallet, which contained a bank card, $60 and ID.
The victim suffered pain to his right shoulder, however, he refused medical attention.
